The day had finally come. The day that everyone in the class had been waiting for. The Paper Football League super bowl! The day started out like any other but the students could feel the excitement in the air. Once class started our two contenders, Beau Briggs and Cody Marquis, went up to the front of the class to take questions. Both contenders were confident answering the questions. It was clear that both players were ready to get to the game and fight for a trophy. Once the questions were over the class set the room for the big stage and the players got into position.
The game started with a immediate advantage going to Beau, considering he had a water boy by his side. After the coin toss took place which Beau won which gave him the ball. The first one to score was Beau, but he couldn't pull through with his kicking game, so he only took a 6-0 lead. Cody answered soon after though but also couldn't make the kick, making it 6-6. From there on out the first half was lopsided with Beau scoring multiple times and Cody only hitting one field goal making the score 27-9. The second half started where the first half left off, with Beau scoring even more and making the score 40-9. Late in the game however Cody began scoring a lot, but it wasn't enough to save him. So the game ended 40-27, with Beau Briggs being the PFL superbowl champion!
